ഡോ.എം.കെ ഹരികുമാർ

കേരളസർക്കാരിൻ്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ഭാഷ സംബന്ധിച്ച ഉന്നതതല സമിതിയംഗമാണ്. മലയാളസമീക്ഷ.കോം എന്ന
മാസികയുടെ എഡിറ്ററായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ മൈ ഇംപ്രസിയോ ഡോട്ട് കോം എന്ന ഓൺലൈൻ പോർട്ടലിൻ്റെ എഡിറ്ററാണ്.കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ സാംസ്കാരികവകുപ്പിൻ്റെ ജൂനിയർ ഫെലോഷിപ്പ് ലഭിച്ചു. 1998 ൽ കേരളകൗമുദിയിൽ ‘അക്ഷരജാലകം എന്ന പ്രതിവാര സാഹിത്യപംക്തി ആരംഭിച്ചു .പിന്നീട് കലാകൗമുദിയിൽ അക്ഷരജാലകം വർഷങ്ങളോളം തുടർന്നു. 26 വർഷം പിന്നിട്ട അക്ഷരജാലകം ഇപ്പോൾ ‘മെട്രോവാർത്ത’യിൽ തുടരുന്നു. അക്ഷരജാലകത്തിനു (രണ്ടു വാല്യങ്ങൾ) അബുദാബി ശക്തി അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചു.ശിവഗിരി മഠത്തിൻ്റെ പുരസ്കാരം ‘ശ്രീനാരായണായ’യ്ക്ക് ലഭിച്ചു. ഗ്ലോബൽ ഹ്യൂമൻ റൈറ്റ്സ് ട്രസ്റ്റും മണിപ്പൂർ ഏഷ്യൻ ഇൻറർനാഷണൽ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയും ചേർന്നു ഓണററി ഡോക്ടറേറ്റ് സമ്മാനിച്ചു.

ഇപ്പോൾ പച്ചമലയാളം (അനുധാവനം), ഗുരുദേവൻ(ഗുരുവും ആത്മാവിൻ്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയവും), സഹോദരൻ(എന്താണ് സാഹിത്യം ,കല?)പംക്തികൾ എഴുതുന്നു.

നവാദ്വൈതം – വിജയൻ്റെ നോവലുകളുടെ എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിനു കേരള സാഹിത്യഅക്കാദമിയുടെ
വിലാസിനി പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചു. അങ്കണം അവാർഡ് ,ദുബായ് എക്സലൻസ് അവാർഡ്, ലണ്ടൻ
ബൂലോക അവാർഡ് ,മുംബൈ രാഗസുധ അവാർഡ് ,പൂനെ പ്രവാസിശബ്ദം അവാർഡ് ,കേരള സാഹിത്യഅക്കാഡമി സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ്, ഒരുമ അവാർഡ് ,ഡോ.എം. ലീലാവതി ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയ
സി.പി. മേനോൻ അവാർഡ് ,മലയാളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും  മികച്ച കോളമിസ്റ്റിനുള്ള എക്സ്പ്രസ് ഹെറാൾഡ് അവാർഡ് (അമേരിക്ക),സ്വാതി അവാർഡ് ,സമകാലികകേരളം അവാർഡ് ,തൃശൂർ സഹൃദയവേദി അവാർഡ് തുടങ്ങിയവയും ലഭിച്ചു. ആദ്യകൃതിയായ ‘ആത്മായനങ്ങളുടെ ഖസാക്കി'(1984)ൻ്റെ പേരിൽ രണ്ടു പതിറ്റാണ്ടിലേറെക്കാലം വിവിധ ശാഖകളിൽപ്പെട്ട കൃതികൾക്ക് ‘ആത്മായനങ്ങളുടെ ഖസാക്ക്  അവാർഡ്’
സമ്മാനിച്ചിരുന്നു .35 പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.

Dr. MK Harikumar

Dr M K Harikumar hails from Koothattukulam, located in Ernakulam, Kerala. His father is M. K. Krishnan, and his mother is Sarojini Krishnan. He completed his education at Koothattukulam Government UPS, Koothattukulam High School, Kuravilangad Devamatha College, and Muvattupuzha Nirmala College. He was a member of the editorial committee of Mangalam and Kerala Kaumudi publications. His first article was published in the magazine ‘Sankramanam’ (Thiruvananthapuram).

He is a member of the Executive committee of the official language of the Government of Kerala. He served as the editor of the magazine ‘malayalasameeksha.com’. Currently, he is the editor of the online portal ‘my Impressio.com’. He was awarded the Junior Fellowship by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. In 1998, he started the weekly literary column ‘Akshara Jalakam’ in Kerala Kaumudi. Later, Akshara Jalakam continued for several years in Kalakaumudi. Now, after 26 years, Akshara Jalakam continues in Metrovartha.The two volumes of Akshara Jalakam have been honored with the Abu Dhabi Shakti Award. The Shivagiri Math honoured him with the Sree Narayana Award.

The Global Human Rights Trust and the Manipur Asian International University jointly conferred upon him an Honorary Doctorate.

He currently writes columns such as ‘Pachhamalayalam’ (Anudhavanam), Gurudevan (On Guru and the Politics of the Soul), and ‘Sahodaran’ (What is Literature? What is Art?).

His book ‘Navadvaitham – Vijayante Novels’ received the Vilasini Award from the Kerala Sahitya Academi. He has received numerous accolades and awards such as the Ankanam Award, Dubai Excellence Award, London Boolok Award, Mumbai Ragasudha Award, Pune Pravasi Shabdam Award, Kerala Sahitya Academi Scholarship, Oruma Award, Dr. M. Leelavathi’s C. P. Menon Award, Express Herald Award for Best Columnist in Malayalam (USA), Swathi Award, Samakalika Kerala Award, and Thrissur Sahridayavedi Award.

His first work, ‘Athmayanangalude Khazakki’ (1984), led to the creation of the Athmayanangalude Khazakki Award, which has been presented for over two decades to outstanding works in various fields of literature. He has published 35 books in total.
